I would like to encourage someone about the awesome favor of the Lord and the faithfulness of blessings over first fruits. My wife and I were working together with an organization that was our sole source of employment. Due to unforseeable circumstances, we found ourselves suddenly unemployed. The very same week there was the first call for a first fruits offering. My wife and I chose a number that was difficult to understand given our current set of circumstances. We gave believing for God to move. The next week I received a part time job which required a week of training. While training, I received a full time job offer needing me to start immediately. Glory to God. While we were waiting to be paid, Our rent was coming due before we were to receive the necessary funds to pay the rent. We could not see how this was going to happen for us in the natural but we knew how awesome and faithful our God is in the supernatural.
Well we had delayed the filing of our taxes until April 14 of this year due to the fear of possibly having to pay additional taxes. God is so awesome that we discovered a return was to be in our favor. Thank you Lord. Now with only a five day grace period to pay rent without late charges, on May 1, only two weeks after the filing of our taxes, we received the deposit of both Federal and State income tax returns allowing us to pay the rent on time. We have not heard of the government moving this quickly with a return before but when God is directing the process, it's always the right time. He get's all the glory.

After I made my First Fruits pledge of $500.00, I received a check in the mail within one week for four times the amount I gave.

What a week!  Pastor Mary encouraged us to declare blessings over our finances.  Monday we got a rebate check in the mail.  Thursday we got a refund check in the mail.  Today we got an Escrow Overage check in the mail from our mortgage company and a letter about unclaimed funds from our previous insurance agent!  Glory to God, it was not over!  I logged onto my AOL account and noticed that I had an email from my website indicating I had an order that was placed for almost $200!  That is the largest single order I have ever had in my web business!  We serve an amazing, miraculous, provisional and ontime GOD!  GLORY!

 

Because of the excellent teachings of Rev. BobSeymour, we gave a First Fruits offering of $1500.  Since then we receivedgifts of money, contracts, refund checks, bonus checks and overtime checks alltotaling over $21,000!  All the praise goes to God!  Because of God'sblessing and faithfulness we have been tithing and keep giving offerings fromthe increase.  In addition, God is healing the spiritual condition of myfamily and we are blessed to see our children returning to God.


After a period of unemployment I promised to giveall of my first paycheck to God as a First Fruits offering and was blessed withthe perfect job.  My rent was due two weeks before I would receive myfirst paycheck and bill collectors were calling, but I trusted that God wouldwork things out.  I was able to work out a grace period with the billcollectors and my landlord, and began to praise God because I could see himworking things out.  Several weeks later, I received a settlement from acar accident that was seven times the amount that my car was worth!  Atthe end of the month, I will be totally debt-free.  For the first timesince my first year of college I will have neither student loans nor creditcard bills!  For this I give God all the praise and glory!


I gave a First Fruits offering in accordance withwhat God told me to give and was believing for a job.  I had sent out manyresumes without any results, but God dropped a job opportunity right into mylap that was a perfect fit!  The total salary and benefits was more than100 times the amount of my First Fruits offering!  God is good, and if Hedid it for me He will do it for you!


For the past two years we have struggled to makeends meet and were in debt to family members, banks, and other creditors. My husband and I prayed about what to give for First Fruits and pledged anamount that stretched our faith.  The next week, we found out that myhusband was eligible for a promotion that we were believing would be his andcomes with a salary that is more than either of us has ever made.  However,the promotion would be several months off, and we still had no money to givefor our First Fruits pledge.  A couple of days later we learned that byEaster we would be receiving over $7,000!  Praise God!  He is faithful and He is never late!
