The C.A.S.H. Coalition is led by the United Way. CASH stands for creating assets, savings and hope. It's for low or fixed-income individuals who might not even consider filing taxes.  The IRS says if you fall into that category, you're likely missing out on some money.

"There are close to 50,000 people in the Monroe County area who have approximately $100,000,000 in earned income tax credits coming back to them from the federal and state government, and many people don't realize that they're even eligible for the earned income tax credit," said Paul Usinski, an IRS senior tax specialist.
