Debbie Betts  Art & PE  K-2

Mrs. Debbie Betts will be teaching Art and PE K-2 at Destiny School this year. 

Debbie is passionate to see all of the children of Destiny School use their God-given gifts to experience and learn many different expressions of art.  Their experience will help them connect classroom lessons with real life applications.  It will also serve to enhance other school subjects, like reading and math.

Having received her bachelors degree in social work at Roberts Wesleyan College, Debbie has over 15 years experience as a leader and teacher in Children’s Ministry at Faith Temple and additional experience through Love & Faith Center Fellowship in Cincinnati Ohio and is the author of two children’s books.

Debbie is creating a custom Art curriculum for Destiny School that will include such media as clay, weaving, color wheel, chalk/oil/watercolor, outdoor classroom, photography, computer graphics, dyes and miscellaneous genres such as paper mache, origami, mosaic, leaf & petal press.
