Better Job With Fewer Hours & Higher Pay

While fasting and praying during the first part ofthe year, I brought to the Lord a major concern I had about serving him. My wife and I knew for quite some time that the Lord wanted me to shift my careerfrom the IT (Information Technology) field into the medical field.  To pursue this dream would require more time and money than my current job and circumstances were providing. 

One morning in prayer, I told the Lord "You know my heart…I wish with my whole heart to serve you in this new path, however, to be perfectly honest I will be unable to do so given the fact I am required to work, on average, 60 plus hours per week. " I told him that I was very concerned and burdened about this, but decided that day to release this burden to him because He cares for me. I told him that, from that day on,I would no longer be concerned about it or have any care about it.

Almost 2 weeks to the day from that time, I was layed off. This came as a shock to my co-workers and upper management given that I was considered a top-performer and a valuable asset to thecompany.  The company provided me with a very generous severance package, including several months of base pay, tuition funds, and full health-care coverage for one year! When I got the message, I had such a peace,so much so that my co-workers were amazed. This testimony blessed many of my co-workers and encouraged their faith.

Since the time of my layoff notice, I have been offered contract work locally that will provide me more time to do what God has called me to do as well as a higher income! I am ttruly grateful to God andpraise Him for this Miracle!

The Protection of God - Major Injury Avoided

While I was sitting at a stop light recently, my car was rear-ended by a huge medical transport bus. I was taken to the hospital with neck injuries. Thankfully, mydaughter and Pastor Mark met me there and anointed me with oil. The first report from the doctors was negative - they said that I would be in a lot of pain for many days. The resultsof my MRI just came in and I was told that my spinal cord was impacted. Had the injury been a tiny bit more severe (“Just a hair more”) - I would have been paralyzed for life! I told the doctor that I was blessed and anointed and that God protected me.  Since that time, Ihave had absolutely no pain from the injury and have gone back to work! Thiswas a great opportunity for me to brag about my God! Thank you Jesus!

Job Received 

I recently gave my testimony of God's blessing of giving me a permanent job. Well, I just wanted to say that immediately afterwards, God blessed me with another possible job opportunity to make even more money! I'm just praising Him and asking Him for wisdom. Halleluijah!

Several months ago I received notices from both the city and county saying that my home was about to be foreclosed on. I did not have money saved to pay these bills and I didn't know how I was going to make it through this.

Three weeks ago I went up to the altar for prayer and one of the ministers said to me "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." She then prayed for me and told me not to worry - "God is going to work a miracle." The following week I mentioned in a conversation that I was about to lose my home if I didn't come up with the money. The women I was speaking to looked me in the eyes and said, "I want to do something for you". She proceeded to write a check for six hundred dollars! When she handed it to me she said, "This is not a loan." Praise God!

Two weeks later I had some of the money I needed, but not all.  I had faith that God would provide for my need. James 4:2 kept coming to my mind, "You have not because you ask not." The Lord brought to mind someone else I could call. Within hours after making the call there was a $2000.00 check waiting for me at Western Union! The following day I was able to pay my city taxes. Tomorrow, I will be paying my county taxes! I'm trusting God to provide for everything I need 

Be assured today that God, our provider, is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or think! 

In 1991, I fell and hurt my back. In 1997 I went to have back surgery, the doctors said I would never walk again. I told them, "that's not what God said!" After I woke up from the surgery, I was able to walk out of the recovery room on my own! Since then I've had more operations and each time I've walked out of the recovery room. I don't even have to take anything for pain! God is so good, because now I'm able to work a job every day!
